A downloadable game for Windows and Linux

Energy Extraction

As soon as you find the energy source and extract its energy you should get out of there, the drones might get angry.

Oh, and the more energy you have, the slower you will get. And you NEED all the energy.

Might there be a way to lessen your burden? ;-)

Note: This Game is in active development. We appreciate your feedback and are still figuring out what the final direction of the Game will be.

Note 2: An earlier Version of the Game was made as a submission for Brackeys Game Jam 2025.2. You can find this Version in the downloads as well. The Theme of  the Game Jam was Risk it for the Biscuit.

Gameplay:

1. Avoid the Drones on your way finding the energy biscuit. It pings every few seconds and gets louder the closer you are to it.

2. Extract all its energy by holding down RMB. Only after extracting all the energy, the white portal/gate opens.

3. Find the white portal to escape. But be careful, all the energy makes your sprint slower. You can use the energy you extracted to shoot and disable the drones for a few seconds. The less energy you have, the faster you can sprint again.

Try to escape with as much energy left as possible.

Controls:

WASD : Move
SHIFT:  Sprint
CTRL: Sneak
LMB(CLICK): Shoot (as soon as you have the energy for it)
RMB(HOLD): Extract energy

Install instructions

Just download and extract the .zip file.
The .pck file needs to stay in the same folder as the executable.

Sadly not a signed executable, so a windows defender warning is to be expected.

Install via the itch.io app to avoid this problem.

Enjoy.

Hi there,

it took us a while longer than expected to finish up what we promised after the Game Jam but now we are back with the final update, for now.

We added controller support, a third person camera, a high score system, some audio and fixed the last bugs.

This project was a lot of fun and we would like to thank everyone who played the game for all the feedback.

PS: Post your high score below. Lets see how far you can push it.
